COVID-19 Public Health & Safety
As we know goal posts can shifts and the rules can change, therefore we will be governed by the rules stated by the government at the time of the event.
We ask kindly that any patrons who are feeling unwell or have the slightest flu like symptoms do not attend the event and see a GP immediately. For all patrons attending the event, please maintain good hygiene by washing hands frequently and giving other patrons space when possible. We ask that all patrons bring a mask with them and use it when in situations that are not possible to social distance.
What are the payment options at the event?
Both card and cash payments will be accepted at the main bar. Smaller bars will only accept card payments. Food vendors are able to accept both cash and card payments at their discretion.
Can we come and go to the festival?
Yes, we will allow pass outs at the festival. We encourage you to check out the local stores, coffee shops and pubs & brewery.
Please note: you will not be able to enter the festival site if you are deemed intoxicated, regardless of whether you’ve gained entry earlier in the day.
My wristband is damaged/ or lost, what do I do?
Lost wristbands will not be replaced. They’re your tickets so do not lose them. If your wristband has been damaged then you will need to go to the box office with your ID, electronic ticket & damaged wristband to have it replaced.
Can I bring my own chair the festival?
Yes you can, however you will only be allowed to place your chair back from the Front of House tent which will be clearly marked. Please bring a small camping chair and be respectful of other peoples space.
Can I bring my own alcohol to the event?
No, the event is licensed and therefore you are unable to bring in any alcoholic beverages to and from the site. Please adhere to local RSA guidelines as non compliance may result in you being evicted from the event for the entire weekend.
Can I bring my own food to the event?
No, outside food is not allowed to enter the festival site. Exceptions will be made for people with serious allergies and medical conditions. Please email events@macromusic.com.au to discuss your dietary needs.
Smoking areas?
The site is a smoke free area and smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas. Please dispose of your cigarette buts properly.
Will there be first aid on-site?
Yes, we will have a first aid point and also medical personnel roaming the site. Please ask security, staff and medical personnel should you require any help.
Security & Police?
We will have plenty of security personnel on site to help you stay safe through out the event. They are there to help you should you require assistance, please treat all security/ police & event staff with respect. GDS is a temporary community and these personnel are there to keep us safe and happy. Both plain clothed and uniform police will be roaming the site. They are there to ensure everyone’s safety.
What payment methods are accepted?
All ticket sales are made through Oztix, our ticketing partner. Oztix accepts VISA & Mastercard.
What is the Oztix refund protection and how does it work?
This is a third-party product that is seperate from ‘Good Day Sunshine Festival’. Please make sure you read the terms & conditions before you purchase.
Refund Policy
Please choose carefully as there are NO REFUNDS on tickets except as required by the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice.
Privacy Disclaimer
It is a condition of purchase that the buyer consents to ‘Good Day Sunshine’ retaining personal information as required by the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012(Cth). ‘Good Day Sunshine’ will only hold your information for archive purposes and contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and event information. ‘Good Day Sunshine’ will not trade, sell or otherwise dispose of your personal information.
Security
Oztix strives to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personally identifiable information of our customers. We use a variety of physical and electronic security measures including restricting physical access to our offices and firewalls and secure databases to keep personal information secure from misuse, loss or unauthorised use of disclosure. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed.
What is a Valid ID?
A valid ID is a current photo driver’s license, proof of age card or a current, valid passport
How many tickets can 1 person buy?
There is a limit of 8 tickets per purchaser in once transaction.
Where can I resell my tickets?
Tixel is the official ticket resale platform. Please visit tixel.com to sell your tickets.
Can I sell my tickets on the Facebook page?
Absolutely not! Scalping is at an all-time high so any posts about ticket resale or buying will be deleted. If you need to resell your tickets, please resell them through the offical Tixel page.
Lineup Changes.
Lineup & schedule is subject to change. Changes to lineup and schedule do NOT constitute a refund and NO refunds will be given.
How much are tickets to the festival?
Tickets are currently on final release for $129.90
Can I bring my children?
The is an 18+ Licensed event, however, children may attend with the presence of a legal Guardian. There are some restrictions to be aware of in order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons.
- All patrons 3 years and older must purchase a ticket.
- Patrons under 18 years (Under 18s) must be accompanied at all times by a Responsible Adult. We strongly recommend this Responsible Adult is 25 years of age or older.
- A Responsible Adult may accompany a maximum of two (2) Under 18s at the Event. Any additional Under 18s will not be allowed into the Event without another accompanying Responsible Adult.
- Responsible Adults must be prepared for the responsibility of accompanying Under 18s by moderating their own alcohol intake and planning the day accordingly.
- The Responsible Adult must ensure that Under 18s in their care adhere to the Event Specific Terms. Failure to comply may result in the Responsible Adult and all accompanying Under 18s being removed from the Venue.
- Responsible Adults and Under 18s may be required to sign an “Accompanied Minor Form” so that in the event of an incident the Promoter has details on record.
When will set times be released?
Set times will be released closer to the date. Keep an eye out!!
Can I have access to a companion card?
Once you have purchased your event ticket please reach out to organise a complimentary companion ticket. Please email ticketing info to events@macromusic.com.au
Will there be an ACROD viewing platform?
We will have dedicated accessible viewing platforms at all stages.
Will there be ACROD facilities available?
Each toilet area will have ACROD facilities. They will be clearly marked on the map.
