Moon & Honey
Art mimicking life, and even informing it... an invitation into a soft focus world. That is the alluring impression folk duo Moon & Honey imprint upon their audiences from the moment they say “hello.”
Lovers in both life and art, Dan White and Emjay Angeni (Blue Child Collective) found themselves performing as a duo when touring Australia, NZ and Europe under the BCC banner, an adventure which gradually paved the way for a brand new sound inspired by their shared experience.
This new sound showcases an emphasis on impeccable vocal harmonies and tasty interwoven guitars, which lend their songs a relaxed sensuality and story-like quality.
The atmosphere cultivated when these two experienced musicians come together is enchanting. The pair excel at making even large shows feel like an intimate lounge room conversation and have a penchant for witty and captivating stage banter.
The duo can be compared to the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, The Paper Kites and Tinpan Orange.
Moon & Honey will be launching their first wave of singles this summer with festival appearances and headline shows to back up their releases.
